Eat right and exercise. The best thing to do is talk to your doctor, get a physical, and ask what is the best process for YOUR body. No body is the same! So what works for one person may not be healthy or work the same for you.
Lord knows, I should take my own advice here, but be smart about this and don't take the quick & easy route. Wish you the best!

Dear Max,
The good news is at your age you can lose weight easily with just a little work.
First take a multivitamin with minerals, a good quality one. You need to give your body these things to use the food you take in correctly.
Second, take on to two chromium Picolinate tablets a day. These will help you lose weight but you still have to eat right.
Three, you need to watch what you eat....and snacks count Max. This is where you will find that you probably are cheating along with the Sodas.
First, no more soda...period until the weight is gone. Sodas are the worst thing because you don';t notice how much you drink.
No sports drinks, no fruit juices. Ok, you can have one fruit juice a day no more than 6 oz of grapefruit or orange juice.
Why, because fruit juices are sugar. So are sodas and sugar causes the body to do several things all of which make you gain weight and cause cholesterol (the bad type). If you really want a soda try switching to Diet Rite...
Why diet rite, because it has no calories, no caffeine and no salt. It also is available in cola, tangerine and another flavor I can't think of right now. And, there is some evidence that some artificial sweeteners keep you from losing weight and Diet Rite is not made with those artificial sweeteners but from another one that does not appear to do that..
Now, you need to eat and eat a lot! That's the good new, you can eat 6 meals a day. Each meal you can have 3 to 4 oz of lean protein,,,,that's boneless skinless chicken or fish. You can have all the veggies (raw) that you want. You should eat some celery, broccoli and carrots at each meal. Just on stalk of celery and a few crowns of broccoli and one nice carrot. You may also have 1 small piece of fruit. NOT THE BIGGEST APPLE you can find, but a small one. NOT A BIG BANANA, but a small one, kiwi, raspberries, blueberries are all good for you. You may also have raw nuts, but DON'T EXCEED 1/2 a cup of nuts per day because they do have a lot of calories. Raw nuts are best and almonds and walnuts are very good for you, I promise if you eat this way you will not be hungry!
You can have a little bit of baked potato or rice and very little bread.. You need to really limit these items as they are starches and starches convert to...SUGAR and we already know sugar is bad....
Finally, you need to move! Run, walk, jog, ride you bike. You need to do this every other day! And, you need to do it for at least 30 minutes. You need to get your heart rate up! So, I mean a FAST WALK, or really ride you bike, don't just peddle around you can do this exercises like this everyday but at the least every other day.
If you follow these guidelines, you will probably lose more than what you expect and will be the hot looking guy you want to be.

being a pole vauter i have to lose quick and mantaine a specific weight. the way i do it seems to work for me (lost 9lbs in lest than a week). Start your day off with a good brakefast, not a big one, but a good one. Eat a normal lunch and have a fair sized diner. The difference you ask? well whatever you do dont eat after 7. this allows you to burn off everything you have eaten so no extra carbs turn into fat while you sleep.
Now if u HAVE to snack, then eat fruits since most of them dont add anything energy wise to your body. Also drink lots of water and do moderate exercise. Trsut me, if you stick with it you will lose all you want

Well, actually you remind me of myself. When I was about to graduate 8th grade, I was overweight, and I didnt want to have to wear a dress for graduation while being fat. So I excercised EVERY DAY for one hour at night and lost about 35 pounds. I also ate really healthy, lots of salad, water, vegetables, lean meats, ect. I dont know where my motivation came from, but in about 2 months I had lost all that weight. I was really determined not to look fat on graduation. However, right after graduation, I slowly gained it all back in about 2 years, because there was no more motivation. I really reccomend you do this slowly and like that it will become something of your everyday life and you wont bounce back like many do. Just think of your motivation, thats what keeps you going and allows the diet and excercise to be less difficult.
Good Luck!
p.s. Maybe you should get a buddy to help you just for extra motivation and to keep you going when you feel lazy or tired.

I lost 105 pounds in 6 months. Here is how I did it.
1. Every morning get up and walk for 45 minutes. You can start with less time, but you want to get up to 45 minutes, and it must be fast walk. You want your heart rate to go up. It must be in the morning, it kick starts your metabolism.
2. I cut out Red Meat, and fatty foods. Boneless skinnless chicken breast, baked, or grilled, rice and vegetables (steamed).
3. Eat half. Just eat half of what you normally eat. Put 1/2 on your plate, and put the rest away. Cook less. When you go to fast food, get salads only. Or grilled chicken. No fries, only diet soda. Or water.
It will work, once you get into a routine, you will get hooked on the results, and you will keep the routine. It has been over a year for me.
A sight with some really cool diet calculators and interesting calorie counting calculators is here. Check it out.

Stay motivated, and get up and walk every day. I seriously lost all my weight starting off my day on my walk.
Good LUCK!

I think the easiest way to do that is go on one of those diets where they send you food to eat every day so its less work on your part and get a YMCA or fitness center membership and visit frequently.
(I suggest Jenny Craig)
