first, you have to blow dry your hair...whether you want it straight or curly, doesn't matter, always start with clean, freshly blown dried hair...
for straight hair, all you need is a top of the line hair-straightener, they don't come cheap but you really need to get a ceramic one, these are the best, because they heat thoroughly, not just in spots and they do an excellent job....start with about 1 inch chunks of hair and from the top to the bottom sweep the straightener through, not too fast but not real slow either...
for wavy hair, you could also use your hair-straightener or any size curling iron, depending on how big or small of waves you would like....
again, take about 1 inch chunks of hair, and starting from the top, wrap the hair around the iron...don't worry about the very bottoms, they don't have to be completely curled under, if you look closely, in the fashion mags, they aren't....it's all about "reverse" curling...it takes a few times to get the hang of it but the outcome is as good as any pic of mary and ashley's...I've tried it!
lastly, get a hair shine spray, just a few squirts and your finished hair is a beautiful shine.....looks absolutely gorgeous! good luck, hope this helps

First off all the millions that they have.....I am sure that they have their own personal hairstylists!!
Get a big curling iron......take your hair in sections....starting with the middle of the strand of hair.....wrap around the barrel of the iron.....hold for 20 sec (unless you have a professional tool)
and unravel.......your hair will look very tossled
Good Luck

when the hair is slightly damp alternate large braids....Like do a braid... leave a small section straight....let completely dry..or spiral iron a section... leave another straight.....after that just run your fingers through do not comb or brush ....you might use a shine spray ( spray it into your hands and work it through )or a slight amount of styling creame..........
