Well, this guy likes me and well hes kinda a jerk in school and im pretty popular. He said im beautiful and asked me out 2 days ago. We went on a date and today at school classmates and other friends were kind of making fun of me that im going out with a jerk like dat. But i kinda do like him. Also today, i broke up with him because i couldnt take the teasing anymore, and to my friends i lied that i never liked him i was just trying to be nice to him by going out. But what i feel is not waht i say. In my head, i still like the guy a lil. Should i tell him to start over or just ignore him?

Okay if these people were your friends in the first place they wouldn't make fun of you. They might share their opinion but if they're really making fun of you, get new friends. Being popular isn't everything. If you like him and he's not jerk to you, I say go for it!

Breaking up with a guy just because your friends make fun of you is very superficial. Ive done it before but I was like, 11. Ive put in my input, I suppose just do what you think is best.

Its odd that you like a jerk, but hey it happens. If you really like this guy, ask him out again. Don't listen to what other people say. Just as long as you're happy, cause that's what really matters.
