Yes, coke has an almost bitter taste to it., and pepsi is much sweeter. I much prefer pepsi to coke.... but not just any pepsi,... diet pepsi with lime! Not as sweet and is quite refreshing

Coca cola ( in my opinion ) is more syrupy, and a whole lot sweeter!
Pepsi has a clean fresh crisp taste to it.
Thats how I could tell

We did this experiment in research methods for a college psychology class and the results found a great majority of people could not tell the difference. We also had caffeine and caffeine free of each flavor and participants couldn't distinguish these either.
Personally, I like diet coke. I think it tastes smoother- especially when it's ice cold.
