It probably depends how you store them. You should probably store them covered in seram plastic wrap or something to keep them moist. Mines dried out really quick and became really hard after about 5 days. When I have seen rice crispies at some stores, they are always in seram plastic wrap.

They will only stay fresh for 3-4 days in a sealed container. And Rice Krispie treates aren't baked.

They last about 1-2 hours.....lol! I find that after about 5 days they start to get hard and stale. My SIL swears they last for almost 2 weeks if you put them in a air tight container in fridge, but they do get a lil mushy. (I don't like em this way, but she's standing over my shoulder. So there ya go!) LOL!

If the homemade rice crispies sit on the cabinet along time, it because stale and cold. Eat them in the 1st 30 minutes and thell be great!!

It really depends on how they are stored. Aluminum foil wrapping at below room temp is best. No longer than 2 or 3 days.
