Should your dad be screaming at you adnt hen demand that you call him sir just because u said you typed a paper

Umm... no? He is your father so I suppose he can scream at you whenever he feels the need to or even whenever he wants to, but no, he should not scream at you. It's not fair to you to be yelled at for no reason, especially for doing school work. If your father yells at you a lot for no reason he could have an anger management problem. I'm sorry you have to deal with it... my father was like that too until he went to counseling.

I don't think so. Was he in the army or something?! I would calmly talk to him when HE is CALM down. Let him know that you'd prefer to call him "dad", not "sir." And that typing a paper for school is OK. Just tell him the teacher asked you to!! He sounds a bit stressed out!! Hopefully the whole thing will just blow over and be forgotten. Good luck.

that's way harsh. cuz u typed a paper isn't a good reason to be screaming at anyone. dats just plain out strict,mean,and wrong.

Parent should always talk to their children calmly and gently. Or maybe you can try to remind him, probably because of his work load at office that he forgot something important here. Try to talk to him.
