God wants your full faith! He wants you to follow Him no matter what it takes. Yes that means that people are going to make fun of you. God makes it that way to make sure that your not luke warm for him. And being a christian is not easy because people arnt going to be the nicest. But you no what following God is anything but stupid its fun and exciting to know that your never going to die(spirtually)!
May God bless you and everyone you love!

Yes christians are to expect being insulted. and Amen to the texts you posted. We just need to consider the sources from where the insults come from....they have nothing better to do in life..I guess they may as well enjoy the life they have then because Judgement WILL come..for ALL!. God Bless.

If we are truly being like Christ, then we will be hated by many. Christians in the U.S. don't experience this like many of our brothers and sisters around the world who truly are insulted, scorned and persecuted for their faith.

After encountering so many nasty attitudes on Yahoo Answers, I'd say yes. I don't experience the rudeness and immaturity in real life so much as I do here- I think people enjoy bashing faceless strangers- maybe they think it's ok because we can't see each other.

Jesus said it would happen, but I am still a little surprised by it. I don't care if the world hates me any more, by the look of the Doomsday clock, on Anderson Cooper's show tonight, I don't we have long on this earth anyway.

Let the atheists rage though and respond in love and maybe they will examine their presumptions.
Atheists express their rage against God although in their view He does not exist. --C. S. Lewis

Yes. The bible says we will be persecuted in his name but I really don't care. Let them say things, when they do, I just know that they are proving the bible right.

I am rarely insulted because I have faith in my beliefs and every one else has just as much right to theirs.
