what are different hair-do's i can do that aren't too "over the top"? usually i just straighten my hair and part it to the side but its getting kinda boring and i need a change.

Try giving yourself a roller rap. After shampooing and conditioning, in the center of the crown place a roller facing behind. In front of it place one coming forward. And one on both sides. Then rap (comb the hair in one direction) hair in one direction around the head, making sure all hair stay above the hair line. Place hair under hooder dryer until hair is dry. Once dry, with a wide tooth comb, comb hair in direction it was rapped. And style as desired. This style gives you highth and body to the hair.

well i got sidebangs n now i can do a bunch of hair dos that r reli e-z that no1 does so its different so u wont get bord of it. But if u dont get sidebangs or hav them u can put ur hair in a messy bun wit a piece of string hangin down he side.

Well what i did was that i dyed the bottom section or my hair blond.
But yoy could try websites from magazines. Like seventeen.com, elle.com...and so on...they sometimes have really nice hairstyles and tell you how to acheive the look.
