Keep in mind that there are many dry counties that do not sell alcohol at all, and semi-dry counties that sell on a very limited basis...

In California, it can't be sold between the hours of 2 am & 6 am. It used to be that you couldn't buy alcohol on any election day. All the liquor stores in my area would be closed for the entire day. I don't know if they had to by law, or if the owners just used it for a day off.

All alcohol laws are state by state. One state you may be able to purchase in supermarkets however in another state you may not. Same goes with the time laws. There are no standard laws.
