Be honest! Considering that some girl was the nicest, sweetest, friendliest, funniest person you've ever met, would you ever date her if she was:
a) obese (meaning at least 200lbs)
b) really ugly (like, very unnattractive)
c) was butch (pretty defined biceps and dragged you to the gym to a bench-pressing contest)
Just want to know the honest answer b/c a lot of people would say, "Yes, if they had a GREAT personality!"

Probably not. I don't think of myself as too picky, but the woman has to be comparable in terms of general attractiveness. It's all about compatibility. I'm shorter (5'7") so I wouldn't date a beautiful girl with a great personality if she was significantly taller than me either.
I do have a question about choice A. Do you mean 200 lbs. over what would be considered normal weight or just 200 lbs.? I think my answer is the same either way but I was curious.
I must say I also find it a bit hypocritical for the girls to criticize guys over their answers here. If they were given the same question, their honest answers would look very similar.

It seems like everyone's already said what I was gonna say. No to all. There has to be some physical attraction, at least the face. Still I couldn't get over the obesity either. Friends is as far as I'd go.

(C) I lift weights so would have something in common, but I see your point!
I wouldn't go for either but I have never been one to say I go for personality. You find a girl attractive first, then learn her personality; this is the bit which makes her ugly or not..INSIDE!
Don't have me down as a preacher though, I like brunette, slim girls who are shorter than me; but that is my preference not a rule! If they have an ugly personality I will not form a relationship with them.

yes u r wrong...coz I like petite...not double d's,I wouldnt mind the butch dragging me to the gym for a bench press/clean-jerk contest because I will drag her there eventually or maybe a boxing bout would be fun though...

To be quite frank..........none of the above. Personality is a lot, but physical attraction is what draws me in to a women at first. I really appreciate someone who carries them self well, and beauty is a part of that, but that doesn't necessarily mean they are attractive to everyone(you following?) So, again, none of the above based on description or "great" personality!!

There has to be some sort of attraction. She doesnt have to be beautiful but I'd have a hard time looking past the ugly part.

Possibly (c). I work my butt off in the gym, and I respect anybody else who does the same, women included. If she has a cute face and a super-fit body, I'd ask her out in a heartbeat.
