My son has asked this very same question. The sad truth is that there will always be men and women that make bad relationship choices. The "Bad Boys" usually attract women/girls that haven't grown up emotionally. And sometimes they have to get seriously hurt (sometimes more than once) before realizing how dumb it is to date or marry these guys. These guys leave "carnage" that the nice guys have to overcome build a relationship with these hurt women/girls. Life is just not fair. And in this case this has been going on for ages.

Well, I don't know where you are, but there are very few nice guys around where I live, and the nice ones are already taken. I suppose we just like to think that we can change the "bad boy" types. I think I would rather avoid the heartbreak though and try to find someone to treat me right and who was nice. There aren't a whole lot of nice guys really left, or well, I haven't seen any good examples of what I'd consider nice around my area, but oh well.

EPIC WIN!!! They just want a guy that suits their needs more than a guy who treats them right. And, I strongly disagree with the answer below. Ava: LOL. Blame dads? The least the modern woman can do is be honest. They want a hot guy, status and material things. That matters more than a nice guy. That's all a cop out. They don't care how much they are treated as much as they care about how people see their status.

When the nice guys stop being wall flowers, and get out there and go for it. You know that saying about the 'early bird'...ya rarely see the 'bad boys' sitting around biding their time and most chicks don't know a guy is a 'bad boy' until she's already with him.
PLENTY of nice guys get girlfriends...they are the ones that go for it and don't wait around wondering (and questions on Answers like ) "does she like me?"

Women won't learn until they've been hurt too many times. "Bad Boy's" are a turn on. I have no idea why. There's just something about being a bad ***. And women like "bad boy's" because they think they can change them. It's some weird, illogical female thing. Don't try to understand, it's unexplainable.

Bad boys typically get girls because they care a lot less than needy nice guys, however, there is a such thing as an alpha guy, who's a combination of both. he's the type of guy you want to aim to be like

When the nice guys get the balls to ask us out. Stopping waiting for us. Most women would rather have the nice guys, but they usually aren't the ones who have the confidence to get our attention.

Don't worry, there ARE women out there that try their best to avoid guys who are plain trouble. I for one appreciate the guys who appreciate me and don't take advantage of me. You are more appreciated than you think, and there is a woman out there looking for you rather than a bad boy.
