The last 5 girls I either dated or slept with were cute to me. But, after meeting them or seeing their pics, my friends and family tell me they thought she would be better looking. What does that say about me? That I'm into ugly girls now? One friend told me she thought I'd be with hotter girls. WTF?

You know what....don't listen.....looks are not every thing.......if you find someone you really connect with, that's what really matters. Looks will fade over time. Not to say that good looks are not a plus, but if you had to pick between a pretty girl that you had nothing in common with or an average girl that made you laugh and you had lots of fun with who would you pick?? Hopefully the girl you would have the most fun with, because that is what is going to last, when you are old and grey...

It means that you pay too much attention to what other people think.
If you like a girl and to you she is pretty, then that is all that matters. You are the person who has to spend time with them and how you feel is the most important thing.
Have you ever considered the possibility that this friend is jealous because you are seeing other girls and not her??

well bud, that's just their opinion- who cares! beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that. it's true you know. if you think the girls you date are beautiful, who gives a darn what anyone else thinks. you're one doing the dating, not them! none of us is ugly, we're all different. butt-ugly to one person is gorgeous to another. i could go on about this all night, but i won't. date who you want, cuz when you get married, you're the one who will wake up to her smiling face every morning, not your best pal (i hope lol)!

You're the one that has to like the way they look, not your friends or family. If she's beautiful to you, then she's beautiful. Maybe your friends and family are a bit shallow?
