I would like anyone to tell me if they know of any good cleaners for the face that are natural home remidies. Especially for the black skin.

Take 2 - 3 teaspoons raw oats (not the pre-cooked type) and crush into smaller bits either by hand or in a grinder. Mix the dry oats with pure honey and 1/4 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar until it forms a smooth mixture. Add more honey as needed. Then add 1 drop of basil oil to the mixture.

For a problem skin, you can replace the basil oil with tea tree oil to help the healing process along.

After washing the face and drying it gently by patting with a towel, apply this sticky mixture in gentle circular movements. Avoid the eye area. Leave the mixture on for about 15 minutes and wash off with lots of tepid water.

Although it is a messy skin treatment to perform, the results are excellent and it costs only pennies to make.

First do not scrub. It will make it worse. Acne is an infection caused by bacteria. Do not touch your face unless your hands have been washed with hot soapy water and wash again after. Everything you touch and then touch to your face is germs from other sources like doorknobs, public restrooms, anything. so watch that. Then buy some witch hazel, antibiotic ointment, cotton balls and q-tips. At night take a washcloth and put it in a bowl of hot salt water. Squeeze it out and leaving it a little wet, not dry put it on your face. Pat it down and lie down for a few minutes while it draws out the impurities. Any time you wash or dry your face just pat it, don't rub it and use a clean washcloth that has been bleached in the wash so you aren't spreading the germs. Then take a cotton ball and using onecotton ball to a pimple clean it with witch hazel and throw it away. Once this dries take a q-tip and using one q-tip for each pimple put ointment on each one. Change your pillow case every night, turn it over and use one for two nights. In the morning do the witch hazel part but not the ointment part unless you are at home. Also when you are home you can use the saltwater pack on your face to let it work more. This will take time. If it starts to get better in a couple of weeks remember to keep it up and change the pillow case and wash your hands and do not rub your face, it spreads the bacteria. If it isn't working you may have to see a Dr. to get an antibiotic...tetracycline to take to clear it up first. Then always use witch hazel to keep the face in good shape. Witch hazel is a natural astringent and a pH balance. You can try a little peroxide with the salt water too, only two times a week, it is drying and may work for you too. good luck.

White table sugar (which has few other uses) has about the right size grit - and dissolves before you can over scrub. As a bonus C6H12O6 (the chemical signature for sugar) mixes with H2o (water) to form H2O2 - hydrogen peroxide - which kills acne bateria. Try it a couple of times a week. Just make sure to rinse the sink area well if you have problems with ants.

Follow up with organic apple cider vinegar (it will be cloudy rather than crystal clear) (balances the acid mantle of the skin, which also helps to keep away acne bacteria)
Rinse after a few minutes if your skin is especially sensitive.

If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.

For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.

Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:

Witch hazel can be used as an astringent if your skin is oily.

I use a baking soda paste (baking soda and water) to exfoliate my skin. Cheap, cheap, cheap, and it feels great.
