I'm not here to lecture on if you recycle or not. If my question comes as that in an offensive manner I apologize. Just to say my family recycles so we can save natural resoures and everything. If every American or Non American could recycle at leats one thing everyday then that is a huge help for the enviroment which is awesome!

I have been recycling ever since I found 6 huge recycling bins in back of a large grocery store by my neighborhood. I recycle everything I can, and I feel great about it! I have noticed very much that before I recycled, my household used to throw away about 1.5 to 2 bags of garbage per day, but since we've recycled, we only toss about 4 bags of garbage per week. Its incredible how much less we dispose of after recycling.

I understand how the so called lazy people may feel about recycling, but one thing that can help those lazy people recycle is that I for one, dont go to the recycling bins all the time, I only go once every 2 weeks until I have accumulated enough recycling material. Plus, I know that many recycling facilities actually purchase paper and other recyclable products, a popular one which is aluminum. There are lots of incentives to recycling. For example, polluting less, conserving more resources and fossil fuels which are needed in the productiton of just about anything. I have never heard that recycling does less good than bad.

The direct answer is no I do not. What I do is store items that can be recycled. Someday I will actually take them to a recycling facility but till then I just collect. As far as why, well thats easy. I pay 19.00 a month to have a trash company to come pick up my refuse. That same trash company wants an additional 10.00 to pick up Items that it will turn around and sell to someone else to recycle. It seems really odd that I should have to pay to do the right thing and that a Company would double dip in profits that should rightfully go to the people who recycle. I don't mean to say pay me but at least don't charge me! untill the day comes that I can recycle with out having to pay for it I guess I'm just a collector.

I do recycle some things, like aluminum (which is very expensive and thus recycling makes sense). But I don't recycle other things, like glass for example. Glass is made out of sand, and we aren't running out of that, so I don't feel guilty. Paper and plastic, yup... I probably should recycle that, but I just can justify paying extra to take it away. When paper plants start buying my newspapers from me (like the aluminum scrap yard does) I'll reconsider. It's just economics.

Yes, over the years, I've learned a great deal about shrinking resources and wasteful use of landfills which are now approaching capacity. In the spirit of helping everyone and the Earth, I'm recycling every day because my lady nags me to.

perhaps it particularly is genuine that folk who purchase for green, organic and organic or recycled products choose to maintain the Earth and do something solid. yet for the agencies and the shops who sell those products, their objectives is to make money first, save the earth 2d. they are actually not charity or non-income businesses. the fee of merchandise is desperate by using the fee, plus the marketplace grant/call for situations. In situations while greater human beings choose to purchase recycled products the fee could actually is going up, till the manufacturers over produce or the save overstock the products - there are too lots of the products and no physique choose them. The generic comsumer products persist with this rule. there is not any explanation why the fairway products or recycled products do no longer.

Yes. Where I live it is compulsory to recycle. We have special garbage bins for recycable materials and have council workers who periodically check the content of our bins to make sure we are recycling correctly.
I think that should be universal. We have one world and we have to take great care her.
