My teeth's slightly crooked and I don't want to go through the braces process...
Are there any methods to help straighten it out?

I'm a dentist.

It depends on the extent to which your teeth are "crooked".

If the cosmetic defects are relatively minor, then veneers work nicely.

If the teeth are severely rotated but there is enough space in the arch for the teeth to fit, crowns may be more suitable.

If, however, there is severe crowding (i.e. teeth are displaced facially and/or lingually from the arch and there is not enough space for a tooth to fit flush in the arch), cosmetic dentistry is not appropriate. In such cases, orthodontic therapy is indicated.

If they aren't too crooked you could get the new invisalign braces. They are clear and they look like they just slip over your teeth. You might want to look in on that. Yeah I had the real braces years ago and they were a pain in the butt- but I sure do have a great smile!!

Yes the product is called invisaline, which is inbetween a retainer and a mouth guard. They are clear platic trays which are molded to your teeth, there clear and there removable. They are barely noticable. The dentist will take impressions of your teeth and as your teeth move they will change out the trays until your teeth are straight.

Invisalign, they are like invisible braces, basically molds to fit on your teeth to help straighten them out. Ask your dentist about them.

Go for veneers...its quick and it won't mess up your bite.
Yes, its expensive but painfree compared with ortho (traditional braces or Invisalign). Yes, Invisalign is painful too...and limited in its abilities.
