You can't go by color. You need to hold a cold mirror to their mouth to see if it fogs up from their breathing if you want to make sure.

About the same color, only different, that Kermit the frog would turn if he was choking (say he had a frog in his throat.)
Smurfs come from another planet, where the air is denser, so it is hard for them to breath here as it is. And their blood is blue, thus the color of the Smurf. When choking, they turn a darker blue, due to blue blood in their head, and sometimes almost purple.

white, there was an episode where one of them choked on something or held his breath and he turned white when he couldnt breathe.
i own that shirt and loved it until some girl asked me whata smurf was to begin with!! dumbass

i think purple because red and blue make purple so i think everyone turns red when suffocated so i think purple is logical

dark purple remember when they caught that sickness and they made that G-NAT noise they turned dark purple so i would say dark purple

purple cuz since its blu, the red blood rushin to its head, mixes with the blu nd BOOM you have purple.
