I would like to know how you go about finding a long lost relative?

I found out last year that my dad has a half brother.I know his name,but my problem is that he is in Russia.How and is there a way that I can find him?

Try the Latter Day Saints website . The Mormons keep extended records ; and not just on Mormons . All countries are listed .

There are many genealogy sites. The problem is that most of them only work for in the US. Maybe try ancestry.com or genealogy.com. I'd suggest checking the census records, but I don't think you can access the Russian census. If you're truly dedicated, you can try.
