would it be best to let others believe what they want ot believe? Why such passionate disagreements?

If one is unsure of themselves they should seek to the ends of the earth to become sure... unfortunately most would rather try and change the others mind then try and understand theirs!
Why do they not try and understand? Because they have become distracted and "believe" they have found an easier way.

I think it's ridiculous to fight over religion. Think about how much faith you have in your own religion, and think about how much you'd hate it if someone tried to convert you. It's the same with everyone else, so "such passionate disagreements" are really not necessary.

Ha ha, solid questions for the Amish or Orthodox Jews (who won't serve interior the armed forces the two yet are satisfied to throw rocks at you if youcontinual on Saturday!) in some unspecified time interior the destiny you need to face up to your ideals or you have none.

Well really, today people fight as much as they want and as hard as they can and if they can't get the opposer to change its mind, they just say "Forget it, believe what you want to." I've done this and when your in an argument about religion its better to just stick it out and try to change the other person's mind. And if you can't, better luck next time.

I personally don't fight with anybody about religio. They have their right to believe however they wish, but STOP trying to stuff YOUR(whomever, not you in particular) beliefs down everyone's throat and if someone disagrees get mad about it. (and yes I said mad, not angry, because some here act MAD like a rapid animal when disagreed with)

A christian should live peaceably with people as they are able. A discussion shouldn't get out of hand.

nothing is worth fighting about
if a belief in God is a belief in love and peace ... as it should be
then God would not want any fighting in his/her name
