I think that there is no bigger sacrifice that human life I am truly grateful for everything our men and women do everyday to protect us are family's and our freedom. My grandfather was in WWII and also Vietnam. I would do anything for my family including give my own life my kids mean everything to me and if that meant fighting in a war to protect them I would. I'm not for war nor against it I think it has to be done to keep us safe but when I think of all of the men and women who willing give their lives I cry. I know ever time I hear of a solider being killed I think that is a mother who lost her baby a wife or husband who lost their soul mate and babies who will never know their Mommy's or daddy's. But those family's will always know that it was done for love.

I join the Air Force straight out of high school but I was not allowed to join due to a knee injury prior to my enlistment date. I wish you all the best and thank you for fighting for my freedoms. Good luck to you.

I wish you the best on the noble experience that you are about to embark on. I only hope that my fellow American citizens posses the noble and benevolent spirit that will be needed in the days ahead. We are at war. We are all being called to duty in the fight for freedom. We are all responsible for the final definition of freedom, let's get it right for the generations to come.

I took that risk when I enlisted the first time in the Marine Corps and I knowingly take that risk again by rejoining the Marine Corps

I would for my family and my friends. And I enlisted while Viet Nam was going strong.
Google up General Smedley Butler and read his article on 'War is a racket'.

I did when I was enlisted in the Army. It sometimes seemed like it wasn't worth it, but in the end I felt good about it and couldnt have been happier.

I would do it again if I had too. I joined the US army two years ago. I'm still serving today and everyday until they give me the ole boot.
