Results may vary. It is recommended for a women to intake 1600 calories a day. Whole milk has around 160 calories per serving, so the average women could drink 10 servings of milk and stay the same weight, as long as they didn't take in any other calories. 2% has around 120 calories per serving and 1% has around 105. Fat free has around 85. Changing only the type of milk you drink can cause changes in your weight. However changing the type of milk may also cause changes in metabolism and diet. The only way to know for sure how a dietary change will effect your life is to try it. Everyone is different.

Milk had fat but it isn't a good idea to try to gain weight by eating only one food. You need to eat protein, foods with calcium like cheese, yogurt, cottage cheese, good fats like olive oil, nuts and cold water fish, veggies for strong bones and vitamins and minerals that the body needs to be healthy. also a wide variety of healthy foods provide the body with all it needs to use the minerals and vitamins and good fats and protien that you are giving it. Otherwise you are giving it too much of one thing and depriving it of another. that doesn't work. Just concentrate on eating healty and eat variety. that is how you stay healthy and strong and don't build up too much of one thing and not enough of another. It's also a good idea to take a suppliment for vitamins and minerals each day. good luck and healthy eating.

It is all about the calories - if you eat more than your body burns off, then you will gain weight...whole milk has almost double the amount of calories of skim, so just think of the added calories, over time you will gain...
