I love cheesecake with cherries or strawberries on it. I also LOVE yellow cake with cream cheese frosting (which is my favorite frosting).

Chocolate, the more chocolate the better. I like cheesecake too, but to me that isn't really a cake.

my favorite is an ice cream cake or the ever most rich devils food cake with white or chocolate icing and jimmys is also a plus too
wait cakes also are pancakes i love them in three flavors chocolate chip pumpkin and blueberry their my favorite and so easy to make

Generally, I go for the sponge cakes (ummmm, Mocha cake...) BUT my most favorite is called the Sans Rival (French for "without rival"). It is made up of light layers made of eggwhites (similar to a Pavlova) and chopped cashews or almonds (sometimes walnuts or pecans). It is frosted with a thin layer of French buttercream (the one made with eggyolks and real butter) and a sprinkling of chopped nuts. Has a slight crunch to every bite. Just thinking about it makes me salivate. Yummmmm...
