Why do blondes have a reputation of being, s-l-o-w?

I used to tell everybody I worked at the M&M factory and got fired for throwing away all the "W's," Over half of them believed me, and they weren't even blonde.(I'm naturaly blonde, I just dye my roots black. How many of you blondes and non-blondes got a good one for the books?

Reputation from TV and movies..look at Marilyn Monroe and Chrissy Snow from Three's Company. And Jessica Simpson doesn't help us blondes! I also know plenty of " slow" brunettes! Probably more than blondes! I get sick of the stereotypes

An undeserved reputation fostered by televison and movies. Most of the blondes on the tube, and in the films, are smart enough to make good dough.

Well i think it has to do with there a lot of ditzy people who just happen to be blonde... im not saying theres not any brunettes, but it seems like most of the people that are ditzy are blonde, chances are they died their hair... its not really true, just like the saying that blondes have more fun.

I THINK THAT IT IS JUST NORMAL FOR BLONDES TO BE "CONSIDERED" STUPID!! I KNOW A LOT OF BLONDES WHO ARE KINDA DITZY, BUT THEY ARE REALLY SMART!!!
