Can my employer use an earnings amount that is incorrect to compute my tax deductions?

I get paid A for actual hours worked, and B for Holidays, but my employer calculated my payroll taxes as if I was getting paid A for Holiday hours, even though I didn't. Is that legal?

No... I think they should use actual wages.
