In a nutshell:
1. At a neighbor's house, my girlfriend was asked at the dinner table by a 12 year old kid "Is he your boyfriend?" She replied, "Noooo."
This bothered me because she denied me as her boyfriend. I asked her why and she said it was because the neighbor will jokes around with stuff like that. Why do you think she acted this way? I would never deny her of being my girlfriend. We've been together 11 months and love each other very much.

12 year olds can be annoying. I told my cousin whos around that age and I never heard the end to the teasing. I wouldn't think anything of it...
Now if it was one of her girlfrieds, or an ex or something I would be concerned.

So you love each other very much but she can't make a statement admitting you're her boyfriend. She must really be great in other ways for you to even think about staying with someone like that. Does she really give that great of head?

I know how hard that can be on you. I'm sorry she said that and I think you should let her know how much it hurt. She had no right to be embarassed but sometimes girls can be insensitive sometimes. Tell her that if she's embarassed of you, maybe it'd be better if you didn't tag along. Take on some offense and if she's sorry, I'm sure she won't do it again. But if she talks back, maybe it's best to put this relationship on hold. It's up to you.

I would be completely upset with my boyfriend if he ever did that. Especially after dating so long. I dont care how much her neighbor jokes, she is with you and should be proud. Talk to her about it.

Dont worry mate. Good job confronting her about it. I dont see why she would be shy to say that you are her boyfriend, but any close family friends of ours and our neighbours can be pretty embarrassing. I sometimes go shy when my bf is around and they tease me jokingly but i think that if she really is that embarrassed by having a bf...then she shouldnt have one. Im sure it has nothing to do with your apperance or your personality...maybe its to do with hers.

simple solution. next time your with her and someone asks you if your together. simply say no and when she flips out remind her of when she did that to you. then she'll know how it feels. if she dont care. then she's embarrassed by you. get drunk and act an ***. then break up and find a girl who wont be a ***** like that.

Is she all google eyed for someone else? maybe she isn't ready to commit outloud, you could give her some time...or not. Have you done something or someone that she is embarassed to omit outloud that 'ya'll are dating?'

Maybe she was just embarssed by telling her neighbors about your relationship.
And by embarssed I don't mean it in a negative way, but maybe she's shy about it?
Just don't worry too much about it.
