what is the best way to teach a cat how to fetch, he allready chases little ratly balls u throw for him now how do u get him to bring it back thanks.

Cats are notoriously hard to train, because they are solitary animals and so they don't have the instinct to please the alpha members of the pack like social animals do. However, some people have had good results with clicker training. The trick to training an animal is to break the behavior up into small steps, and teach each step. So teach the cat to look at you after he's caught the ball, then teach him to come forward with it, etc. Just a minute and I'll get you some links for clicker training for cats.
