if a girl is really pretty are you sometimes imtimidated to approach her? and if so why?

In high school I was intimidated by very pretty girls. I was afraid of rejection because surly too many boys showed interest in them and they had too many to select from and return their advances. There was one girl in particular ... an absolute knock out.
I later met her after high school in a relaxed social setting. I got to know her and we started dating. I learned from her that not that many boys asked her out in high school and she ended up dating a few nerds, because so few boys showed any interest in her. The fact was that we were all drooling over her but afraid to approach her for fear of rejection.
In high school many girls do not even realize how beautiful they are and the affect they have on boys. The girls that know it often come across as stuck up because they are stuck up.
The point that I'm making is that you never know if you don't take a chance. Go for it in a relaxed none come on manner. You'll be pleasantly surprised more often than your rejected and embarassed.

Yes. Because at a certain age...usually about 15 or 16, a really pretty girl figures out that she is really pretty, so she is forced to become stuck up for the purpose of whittling down the pool of boys/men that are hitting on them.
Really, its not the girl's fault. She is forced to be that way. It's supply and demand.

well some guys are very intimidated a lot of the best looking girls don't get approached as much as one would think because of this. as to why it could be fear of rejection i would have to guess, some guys just learn to deal with it though and some are crippled by it.

YES mainly some very pretty girls can be very rude and i know why lets say the guy is ugly they actuallyy get offended because the guy actuall thinks he has a chance lol i get mad when fat or ugly girls hit on me or stare me down like a piece of meat

Me, No. But guys (much like girls) don't like to be rejected. And the thought is, that if a girl is really pretty, then she can pick and choose and if a guy doesn't feel like he's super hot, then he may feel intimidated unless he's either very confident in a good way, or a cocky ***hole who thinks that anyone that rejects him is a dumb *****.

Na im cool around girls and im only 16. i just think of girls as friends even b4 i meet them and then i approach. if a dude is mature enough he will approach. Girls are just people like men are!!

yeah i guess, she could simply blow me off since she's probably approaced by so many others.
on the other hand, many pretty girls don't have to try so hard in the brains dept, and i'm not attracted to that...
however it all depends on what kind of pretty your talking about. i like a certain type of face.

Youbg guys have a severe problem with rejection. As they get older they learn that rejection is part of life.

I get intimidated. I guess I hesitate to approach her because of my fragile self esteem. Rejection really hurts. And I've seen my share of rejection. :)

There was a time when I was like that, Probably figuring she has an attitude and wont give any straight answers, and be really snooty.
