Do you think God is waiting for something, waiting for Mankind to reach a point where He says, "it's time"? Or do you believe there is a pre-set time, that God knows what is going to happen already, and there is a date in History that God has selected for Christ's return? There have been many times when our society has been certain that the time was getting close for His return. Do you think that what has happend recently are the begining of the "birth pains" of His return? Our are we just like the generations before us, thinking wrong? I know no one knows the Day or the Hour, but He did say we will know the Season. What do you think, or what have your read that can add more insight to my question? Please only serious answers. Thanks.

If God meant that when Jesus' elite went home, as in 1948 (when Israel became a country again); He said that that Generation will not parish. Does this mean that those who are a part of the 1948 generation will not parish before Christ's second coming?

Many nations of the world will threaten and attack Israel. (Zechariah 14:1-11)
Is this a sign now,of Christ's second comming?
Maybe all of the generations before us who were certain, were in a way "crying wolf", so that Satan will make Christians "give up" and not believe that Christ is going to come back, or make non-believers think they have time to accept Christ so they can go on living w/ out God in their life.

If you nurture this little seed that has started you questioning the Christian Dogma, there is a SLIM chance you might grow out of it's stranglehold, and then you'll discover that WE are responsible for our lives, the world, and everything that happens in it, for as long as we are each here.
Frightening, but that is the price of TRUE maturity, something that 90% of the world is terrified of. If you ever make it, you'll discover a terrible little secret... the alternative is even more terrifying.

God is still in control, although there is a whole lot of shaking going on,What we are seeing are fore runners. All signs before us didn"t matter. The Jews had to return home and be in possesion of Jerusalem,1967 6 day war,the clock is running,
Church Age is about over. There is the unknowable date of removal of all Believers Those that have asked God for Pardon thru Jesus Christ. Now if you are still here when E.U.Confirms a
peace agreement with Israel and P.L.O. and Arabs, start counting 2580 days, there want be a whole lot of Mortals left and If Christ didn"t come Man would destroy it:s self/ A pre-set time is a good way of saying it.

There will be very few true faithful followers of Jesus left when the apocalypse comes, mostly because only those who could endure the antichrist's reign will be around.
At this time I suspect that there are more than 10 million devout followers of Christ in the world, I suspect that number will drop below 1 million and be confined to only a few nations when the end approaches.

I've continually puzzled why cross via that complete complicated flood thingie for those who desired to wipe out mankind however depart the whole thing else? Why did not god simply zap every person with a simultaneous bolt of lightning? Poof - 2 seconds and you are capable to begin over, no looking ahead to Noah to construct an ark, collect all of the critters, fill the complete frikkin planet with a brazillian plenty of water, and all that malarkey. Or if the lightning is just too showy, why now not a deadly disease? Surely god might create a deadly disease that might wipe out all of the men and women, and depart all of the glad critters. And why maintain Noah in any respect? The bible certain does not gift so much proof of his goodness. After landfall he suggests himself to be a lazy butted, imply-lively inebriated who is frequently diddling his daughters. That's the fine god might arise with? If he created Adam and Eve in not up to an afternoon out of a few grime, why now not simply erase 'em all and begin over contemporary? Maybe determine a few of the ones layout flaws in variation two.zero (crappy eyes, chokes on meals, unhealthy backs, pelvis too small for little one head, and so forth.). I've on no account been competent to determine what metaphorical lesson the complete Noah's flood factor used to be intended to train, rather then 'many times god's a dick, so that you could wish to convey an umbrella'.

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to usward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night;
Jesus Christ can come at anytime, be ever ready.

No man knows the hour when he will come like a thief in the night.
But certain people are starting wars these days because they are supposedly tired of waiting. They apparently want to force the rapture to happen now, rather than in Gods time.
It is IMO extremely arrogant and presumptuous of christians to assume they can tell God when to return.

At this point, I think the Devil would still be saying craps like "you haven't seen the last of me". So yeah, the worst is yet to come.
All we can do is to pray that God will always be with the believers, up until the end.
Peace and Love
