Because the Bible is written by God. My question is - Is this an example of a circular argument or a paradox?

Its a circular argument. People say that the bible is right and because its in the bible therefore it must be right.
There is no independent proof outside of the bible that proves the existance of God - other than nature. But some people dont accept that either.
The Nag hammadi & Dead Sea scrolls tend to say different things from the bible - and most of them do not agree with the bible. Which is why they were not part of the bible anyway.

Yes, surely an argument for the existence of God is that He reveals Himself in the holy scriptures of the Abrahamic faiths. In addition, His existence can also be proven by our existence, for there's no such thing as a coincidence. Even IF there's evolution, this evolution could only have happened because God has willed it. Everything is indeed orchestrated by God, The Creator.

Even if I've never read a Bible, when I look around me, there are so many credible and incredible things that I know there must be a higher being than myself. The functioning of my body alone gives me chills.

isn't he the only God that has done miracles recorded. why don't U seek him out in prayer, just ask once if he lives in prayer he'll show U someday he's alive.
