Two kids go across.
One kid goes back
Then the old man goes across
Then the one kid goes back and picks up the other kid.

1. The 2 children get in the boat and cross the river.
2. 1 of the 2 children comes back across the river.
3. The man gets in the boat and then crosses the river.
4. Then the other child on the same side of the river as the man gets in the boat and goes to the other side.
5. Then the 2 children both cross the river together in the same boat.
Then they are all there.

The man should tie a rope around his waist and tow the boat with the two children in it across the river.

The man puts the children in the boat, they go across, then push the boat back to him?

He's going to send the kids first and then he'll swim across......
or the answer can be that he already brought the kids to the grandmas house so no one needs to cross.
