As the scripture says, adultery is grounds for divorce. Yes, you can remarry.

When I studied the Thesis on this in
Bible college, there was debate on this.
I can see you have been through a lot and God knows that. It can be done, but only after lots of trying to get help for the relationship is exhausted. Then get your divorce Papers.
I don't want to go into the getting married to someone else, but if he's
a christian and you love each other,
and there is no Domestic Violence and you serve GOD, I don't think you'll burn for eternity. GOOD LUCK

Right. So basically, very clearly, right there in that verse, matthew is stating that it is condoned for a divorcee woman to have sex, "causing her to become an adulteress" and it clearly prohibits men from marrying divorced women.

Christ also said " Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, suffered you to put away your wives, but from the beginning it was not so." Matt. 19:8 God wants us to enter into marriage carefully, not just out of love and emotion. He wants us to explore every aspect of us being equally yoked (compatible) to make marriage work. Equally when looking to get out of marriage, he wants us to look back on our compatibility and rediscover everything and reason why we married in the first place. Yes you'd be justified for divorce, but God would rather you work it out.

You put the passage there that answers your question. Your spouse(s) broke the covenant bond of marriage that they made with you before God and so you are no longer bound to them. I'm sorry to hear about your unfortunate past circumstances. I hope that if you get married again you find someone who is committed to honoring their vow before God.

Well, sex with protitute isn't as bad as an affair, no emotional thing there unless he fell in love with her... follow your heart, if you want I would think whether he is right for you and leave him if you want to, but not hold it against him if he fumbled a little bit and is sorry ;)

Yes you can. But you should take a look at yourself and figure out what is it about this type of man that is attractive to you, and look for someone different from that

I can only speak to the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony and if you are Catholic. It would then depend on whether or not the Sacrament was valid. Otherwise - "Til death us do part" means "Til death us do part."
