this boy is really cute and smart, and funny, and hot!! I REALLY like him! He used to like me too(we didn't talk about it or anything--but it was OBVIOUS!) The thing is my friend likes him and she went up to him in the hall and KISSED HIM! Now he likes her and i am really mad! I want to him to like me still--even though he still does a little! :) HELP!
ps. and I am NOT going to go up and kiss him, and I won't take "Just let him go...." for an answer!!!

Wow. Talk to your friend about it. I went through a similar problem with one of my best friends. I told myself, "Do I want to lose my best friend over some guy who will most likely dump me very soon??" I said I'd rather have my best friend than have a bf foe awhile. Goodluck with your troubles.

lol. well I'm guessing by your story and enthusiasm you're either late middleschool or early highschool. This is slightly cliched and I don't usually answer these but what the heck. I will say this though, I can be almost certain that a friendship is going to last a lot longer than a boyfriend, at least at your state in life. seriously. Unless your friend is a complete jerk, but anyway, cliches are called cliches for a reason, because they happen a lot. Here's your own personal one: Girls are good friends - "Cute" boy comes along - Girls Both like boy - girls fight over boy - one gets him and the past friendship is ruined - boy gets disinterested after a while and moves on, leaving the girl wishing she'd just forgetten about the boy in the first place.
of course this is assuming your friend is a really good friend, if not the guy could be worth it.

Aren`t there lots of other boys at your school? Unless you`re close to this guy, like friendship and everything, I would try to find someone else. Because if you only like him for his looks [cute and hot...], then it wouldn`t be too terrible to not have him. Plus, if a guy would rather be with someone else other than you, they`re a waste of your time.
