Alas, Jesus must not have loved wolves. Otherwise the bible would explicitly say that he loved wolves, or at least washed their feet.
But then, I've never washed the feet of a wolf. Should I?

Why do you think he made moose? St. Francis rebuked a marauding wolf once in his days and the wolf became a very nice one. Almost dog like. He never bothered the townspeople again. That is why he is sometimes depicted with a wolf or dog.

God created every creature on this planet, therefore he loves them all, and so should Jesus. It doesn't matter if it wasn't mentioned in the Bible, even star fishes weren't mentioned.
