Absolutely!!! All the time. I have 5 kids in the house and if my husband and I don't do that, we won't ever get a snack. I even have to buy my 17 year daughter her own so she can hide them too or she wouldn't never have anything either. The younger ones eat everything almost in the same day you buy it. So don't feel bad and enjoy............

I think everyone does. Kids are known for eating snacks, and if you have a fav. snack that you dont want your kids to eat, then you would have to hide it. Theres nothing wrong with that.

Yup! I understand how to have a special snack now and then. But that stuff is not good for the kids. and I don't want to be a hypocrite in front of them.......I allow them treats from time to time. But I get mommy treats when I need them.

I don't have kids....
my mom used to hide snacks from the kids .. we kids often found them!

what was harder was stuff in plain sight that was off limits most of the time. the good icecream. the good salami. We were acused of not apreaciated it or having good enough taste buds.

we may not have appreciated it, but as a child my tastebuds were more acute than now.

and she used to be-moan the fact that her mom used to skim the cream off the milk and not share and eat the good jelly when she had to scrape the mold off.

so if you can avoid this .. please try for all our sakes.

Ferrets are illegel in many places by way of fact people don't be taught up earlier making rash and stupid judgements. some genius desperate that ferrets are no longer domesticated and that in the event that they get exterior, they are going to variety feral colonies. it extremely is ridiculous and lots from the certainty. Domesticated ferrets are relatively intelligent, cute little creatures which could no longer stay to tell the story interior the wild. they are going to die in the event that they get exterior- that's why they are referred to as DOMESTICATED ferrets. they have a undeniable stereotype, like Pit Bulls. people think of they are those vicious little rodents with fangs. I truthfully have had ferrets as a baby and that i've got 2 now. they are so candy and could in no way injury a fly. They count on their people to look after them. don't get one in the event that they are unlawful. you're basically putting your little ferret's existence in jeopardy. a competent e book to envision on ferrets is Ferrets for Dummies. there is fairly some solid information. in there in case you reside someplace sometime the place they do no longer seem to be unlawful. they do no longer seem to be for each guy or woman however. they do no longer seem to be a low-maintenance puppy by way of their very curious and inquisitive nature. because ferrets come off the farms altered already, somebody please clarify how they gets out and overpopulate. final time I checked, you had to have reproductive organs to try this. and probably black-footed ferrets have no predators, yet domesticated ferrets are no longer the comparable component- they are only appropriate. you won't be able to permit a domesticated animal out and think of it is going to kill each and every thing. back, they are DOMESTICATED. one in each and every of my ferrets have been given out of the living house while i replaced into 7. you recognize what occurred to him? He have been given killed via the dogs around the line.

No I don't hide snacks from my boys, but I do tell them when and if they can have them. We normally only have them (and buy them) on movie night, and what ever is left we put up tell next time. It's not that big of a deal at my house.

Sort of. I have been skinny my whole life. Well, I'm not Skinny anymore but not fat either. But mostly I've never had to worry about weight. My daughters on the other hand have had to fight it their whole lives. So, I've never liked to have too many sweets around because it is tempting to them. Oh yeah, and their dad love sweets too and he's thin. So, I hide sweets for him so the girls aren't tempted by them but their dad can have some when he gets a sweet tooth.

my kid isn't old enough to hide things from but my niece who stays with us on a daily basis knows not to touch it without permission.

my mom hid stuff from us and our dad.. she wouldn't have gotten anything if they hadn't, my brothers ate everything. but she also bought us special snacks once in a while too

No. My parents did this and I thought it was so unfair. Whatever I buy is for everyone. Generally speaking tho, my kids ask before they eat anything anyway so if I only bought a certain number of something, and they already had their share, they won't get another of the same thing.
