Not only do Bratz Dolls not represent Christian qualities, they do not represent qualities of any young girl. These dolls are meant for young girls, but any doll that comes with a thong and looking somewhat like a hooker should not be marketed to such young girls. It seems that the designers of these dolls have no social conscience at all. The dolls teach little girls that fashion, beauty and looking good is the only thing that matters.
If you check out the Bratz website, you'll find great examples of how horrible these dolls really are. The boy Bratz have interesting profiles. For example, one of them states "My name is *****, but people call me Panther because I'm always on the prowl!"
Shame on the manufacturers of Bratz dolls, and the parents that let their little girls play with them.

My daughter is 8 and loves Bratz dolls. I will admit, at first, I was skeptical about her having a Bratz doll. I have sense had a change of heart. My daughter and I are of a mixed decent. It's hard to find a doll that has different skin tones and still come with all of the good items. I get my daughter all kinds of dolls but I like getting her something that looks like she does (complexion wise). Bratz has 4 main dolls, all with a different ethnic look. I like the versatility. Granted, Barbie does have her "friends" that are different colors but have you ever noticed the clothes they wear and their accessories. Barbie is the ONLY one allowed to wear pink, the other girls have some other color on but never pink. If your daughter is anything like mine, she's gone through a pink only stage..... Try and find a black or hispanic Barbie wearing pink! It'll be damn near impossible. Bratz is more about girl empowerment. Crazy sounding, I know but if you watch the cartoon (yes there really is one) the girls are magazine editors and are all about standing up for their friends. It's really cute, once you get over the fact that you're watching a Bratz cartoon... ;-) Its all about opinions and what you feel comfortable with what your daughter is exposed too. Bratz must be doing something right or Mattel wouldn't have come out w/ the My Scene Barbie's, that look a lot like Bratz. I do agree w/ you and other Answerers that the clothes should have more material. But my daughter takes them all off anyway, so I figured it it doesn't matter that much, anyway!

Bratz dont represent any values or any intelligence for that matter... they represent materialism in its worst form. Whether you are christian or not I think we can all agree that Bratz are idiotic dolls that encourage girls to dress slutty, act brainless and care only about clothes, friends, gossip and materialistic values.

Christian values or not, those dolls are not appropriate for little girls. They are half naked! What message does that send about being a young lady?

think on it - what do they represent? Shallow behavior - concern with looks, clothing, money, aquisitions. Those are not supposed to be Christian values - even if for some they are.

Hell no they don't. Have you seen them? They dress like little sluts, with those big lips. Why their heads are so huge and have humoungeous lips for so little bodies? They are so gethoo,
I hate those little bitches.
