y does my guy friend flirt with me and pretend he likes me then flirts with other girls when im right there! do you think hes doing this to get me jealous orjust cus he doesnt like me like that....i really like him (im only 14)

maybe to make you jealous (sounds like it works) or maybe he's just a flirt and you're one of the many targets. Relax. If you like him, tell him and see if his behavior changes. If not, forget about it and use him for friendly flirting practice

He's not trying to make you jealous he's trying to pick up the other girls..pretending that he is just trying to make you jealous is nuts...he's the kind of guy that will cheat on you every chance he gets. Don't get to attached to this joker..if he acts this way in front of you what does he do when you can't see him???

He is just trying to impress the other girls into liking him. Strictly a guy thing. At 14, he probably likes you about as much as he likes the other girls. Give it time.

It's just a game guys play with their girl FRIENDS (2 words). He probably does not realise that you like him, but thinks that you are just playing along with him. This guy does not take himself seriously, so in order to get his attention, you have to get him aside for a one on one discussion. Personally, I don't think you want to be dating a guy like this, he does not sound like he is ready for a serious relationship. He is flirtatious with other girls and he is too young to change. He is having too good of a time.

He could like you, but maybe he just wants to be single and flirt. If he isn`t dating you, he can flirt with whoever he wants. Try not to worry about it too much, and I wouldn`t suggest bringing it up to him, that just might make you look clingy.

Your guy friend is a perfectly normal single guy.
He flirts with you and other girls because it's fun.
It doesn't mean he doesn't like you....it just means he likes other girls too.

i think you might be miss understanding his personality . your taking his being nice or witty or friendly as flirting and it just might not be i to do that a lot and sometimes i catch myself he does not see any harm in doing this as a wise old mad once said "its a perfectly natural thing "
