There's this girl that i like at my school. Everybody thinks i'm funny, not the class clown but just funny. Its for a dance. I want to ask her out, but i'm afraid! I don't know how to overcome it! And how should i ask it? Please help me!!!

ok you can draw/get a picture of a football player full front on a three point stance. then make a card out of it and put that in the front. when she opens it up you should write in there.
"how'z your 'stance', we go dance"
and add what ever you like
just play it cool and don't fear rejection. the worst that can happen is "NO" or maybe "NNNNOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Oh god. If you were my wee lad I would be anxious as hell. Is it possible to strike up a conversation with her? Start of asking about the weather or something like that and then ask her if she is going to the dance. If she says yes say 'you have probably got loads of guys asking you - can you put me on your list?' This way you are giving her a great compliment and giving her a way out if she doesn't want to go with you. More than likely she will be that pleased you think she is so popular, she will say yes.

well, i hate to say it but there is always a chance of being rejected. Any girl in their right mind would be flatter to be asked out. it makes us feel special, and wanted. It's a good feeling, i don't know what this girl is like, but ,maybe you can ask her directly, though a note, by phone, ect. I mean if you are afraid to ask her when her friends are around and she never seems to be alone.......you can ask her to meet you at a certain place and time, and ask her.

Dude..one bit of advice....there is always the risk of being rejected. But unless you move on and ask her there is no way out. Be a man and ask her nothing to lose..not even your pride. She has the right to either want/don't want to go out with you. That won't make you any less human or shouldn't be an embarrasement.
Now go head and do yourself a favour.Ask her out

We all have to get used to rejection so you may as well start now! No.. it's not easy at all.. but look on it as 'character forming' and it will get easier each time...may take a while ..but well worth it as you'll gain valuable confidence over time. Just ask her straight out.. and 'fake' your confidence just for that moment...go on! ...you can do it... just be the best actor in the world for 2 mins....Good Luck!
