1st of all, the Bible NEVER says & Jesus NEVER said He is God. False religion teaches he is because "Satan is misleading the entire earth." As long as you're not worshiping Jehovah, you're making him happy. Jesus said, The Father is greater than I. He was baptized because He came down to be a sacrifice for mankind's sins. By being baptized, He showed what we shoud do-devote our life to serving his father, Jehovah God. Once he was baptized, He started to remember being in heaven with his father & more intricate details about his purposes.

HE was baptized as an example for each and every one of us. HE came as a sacrificial lamb to the slaughter for our sins.

The Lord Jesus Christ came to earth to offer the kingdom to Israel. He would fulfill all the prophecy in the scriptures to prove He was who He said He was. In order to do this He had to be becomes a prophet, priest and king. He was baptized for the following reasons:
1.To be identified with believing Israel. Luke 3:21 Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened, Luke 3:22 And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him, and a voice came from heaven, which said, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I am well pleased. Luke 3:23 And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli, Luke 7:29 And all the people that heard him, and the publicans, justified God, being baptized with the baptism of John. Luke 7:30 But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God against themselves, being not baptized of him.
2.To be manifest to Israel: John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. John 1:30 This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me. John 1:31 And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.
3.To submit himself to fulfill all righteousness: Matthew 3:15 And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him.
4.To be Prophet, Priest, and King: To hold these office He had to be washed and anointed: (1) Prophet: Luke 7:16 And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet is risen up among us; and, That God hath visited his people. (2) Priest after the order of Melchisedec: Exodus 40:12 And thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and wash them with water. Hebrews 6:20 Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. (3) Made a King to fulfill the scriptures: Isaiah 32:1 Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule in judgment.
5.To be ordained to preach the gospel: Luke 4: 18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are burdened.
In the age of grace, where there is only one baptism, we are not baptized because Jesus was baptized. The Holy Spirit baptizes us into His body. Ephesians 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 1 Corinthians 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, We are baptized into His death when the Holy Spirit baptizes us into His body. Romans 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

Jesus was created first and foremost as a man , to walk this land as a TEACHER, how would you have learned about baptism if he didn't teach you or said something about this during his stay on earth?
