If I disrespected any of our sevice men in my earlier question I'm truly sorry.That was not my intention.I was wondering is there a free web site I can visit to try and find a Marine buddy of my fathers.My father was a corporal and his buddy was a seargent.They were stationed at camp Lajune in Raleigh North Carolina.The gentlemans name was Joel E. turner and he was from Padre Island.Corpus Christie,Texas.Again fellows , I meant no disrespect.If you can help I would greatly appreciate it as would my father.By the way his name was Ronnie Allen Lay.Thank you so very much.

Much better.......forgiven.
There are lots of sites, but unless your Dad's friend is registered you wont find him.
These sites can lead you to other links of Veteran and Marine sites.
Good luck in your search, you Dad would be happy if you found him. I recently hooked up with a guy I was in Boot Camp with. It was nice.

You can go to the VA site and they have a link to soldiers killed in Vietnam. Other than that, I can't tell you how to find the person. I've looked for a buddy of mine for over 10 years now on the Internet and have not found him. We were separated in 1964 and I have no idea if he even went to Vietnam. He re-enlisted I know but I can't find him.

I knew 2 Lay's in Vietnam but they were both Army. Check out militarybuddies.com. and post a message, someone may be able to help you.

Ask the Veterans Office for the whereabouts of said person.
