i wanted to know if i could use my green card (alian card) to drive to canada not fly?

Hi - we don't have a problem with you using your greencard (you don't need a passport to get into Canada from the States), but you might have a problem getting back into the States. As of January 23, 2007, anybody going through airports to the US must have a passport (coming from Canada). You're still ok by land and sea until January 1, 2008.

U will be needing passport to drive into canada.
in past u can come on green card but from 01-Jan-06 PASSPORT IS MUST

You don't need a passport if you drive for another year or so.

Not anymore.The new law is everyone needs a passport or it's no travel
