Its longer than normal. Never saw or heard of this length of foreskin. It may cause problem or irritation later on. Get it circumcised soon.

Don`t circumcise him its cruel, some Muslims circumcise girls as well , if you would not do this to a girl why is it OK for a boy ?Let him grow up then I am sure everything will fit properly at 8 years old he is still a baby.Without a foreskin the end of the penis is not protected can be irritated and looses sensitivity therefore when it comes to sex when he is older he will have less pleasure. It is there for a reason leave it alone.

There is nothing to worry about as long as he is keeping it clean. The length of a foreskin varies from men to men, and it usually covers the gland of the flaccid penis of children. This sometimes changes once men enter puberty, but even 50% of all adult uncircumcised men have foreskins long enough to cover all of their gland when "soft."
For more information check the Wikipedia article on the foreskin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foreskin)

It sounds perfectly normal. The natural body comes in many shapes and sizes! Who knows, when he is older he may be very popular with the ladies! I am sure it is just like the size of noses that people have or the different shapes that tounges come in. My older son who is 6 has a foreskin who is actually getting to look longer than it did when he was a baby.
Congratulations for leaving him as nature intended! Over 80% of the world is intact!

You know, I dated a guy once who had a really long foreskin. It never bothered him any, and when he was erect, it fit him just fine (*wink wink, nudge nudge*). Personally, if I were a bloke with an extra long foreskin, I'd feel a bit dodgy about wearing pants with zippers. I wouldn't get dressed in the dark, at any rate.
Seriously though, foreskins vary between guys as much as any other part of the body. Though his foreskin may not be the most common length for foreskins, that in itself in completely normal.

That is a tad long but not extreme. Be sure that you teach him to properly wash his penis and keep it cleaned under the foreskin for his own interests and those of his partners ( in the future ).

After changing many nappies on many boys in child-care I can tell you they are all different and whatever your sons is is normal. Don't stress. If it bothers him as an adult he can be circumcised then.
