You surely can have fun with your best friend while showing respect for each other. The way for others to respect you is to show them respect first and secondly be a respectable person yourself. Hope this helps. Good luck.

I don`t understand why your friend should respect you, or why girls in particular should respect you. I`m fourteen; I don`t "respect" my guy friends or guys I like. I`m not MEAN to them or anything, but friendships aren`t about respect, they`re just about hanging out. Relationships are about respect, but really only about respecting each other`s boundaries...
