This guy has been in a relationship with this girl for like 5 years. Her girlfriend is outside the country and he is talking with this other girl from his class, and he likes her. He doesnt do anything with her, like getting physical or going out with her.
Is he cheating if he likes two girls at the same time even though he doesnt really doing anything with the girl. He just looks for her and talks to her.

No. It is not cheating. Until he starts talking to her about going out with her or anything physical it is not cheating. However, I think if he thinks he would break up with his currect girlfriend, if this other girl says he likes him, then he should break up with her. Why? Because you should not drag people along. My fiance could be a in different country. No matter who asked me out, I know I know I would say no. If I was liked two guys are the same time, I would know that there is something WRONG with my relationship. "LIKE" meaning wanting to date. I have a lot of guys friends I "like" but the thought of kissing wigs me out!

So this guy must be you?! Just talking with another girl is not cheating but if you act on your feelings it certainly is. How long is your girl out of the country? Consider whether you are just lonely for her or if you think the relationship is over with her. If you do cheat, then that will take care of that. Be honest with yourself and the girls.

No. It's not cheating unless they do something. It looks like he's just deciding right now. Once he decides to mess around with th other girl he is cheating. They may just turn out to be friends. It's not cheating to have a friend of the opposite sex.

Tough one! Problem is we all want to feel accepted and need attention. If he had friends before the first girl, he doesn't have to give up a "friend" for her or anyone else if his intentions are genuine. But if his intentions are not what they should be, then yes it is a great potential for a bad episode. The trouble with this is how does one determine his intentions without being able to monitor his words and actions?

It's not cheating if your not doing anything but if you feel anything at all 4 this girl than it is so cheating because your emotions are always going to be the judgement it's human nature.

If he likes the other girl, and is actively trying to talk to her and see her, then it's going to BE cheating pretty soon. If he feels anything towards her, he should back off if he wants to remain faithful.

Cheating?.....Well, he needs to ask himself if he could tell the first girl about the 2nd one? If he can honestly, he is fine. If he would rather keep it a "secret", he should not go with either till he makes up his mind for sure. If it is an innocent relationship (friendship) with the 2nd girl, he won't mind discussing her with the first girl.

Well your already into her now dude so you gotta make up your mind what you want to do. Either leave her alone and wait for your girl to come home. Or break up with your girl and start dating the girl from class. If you are starting to like the girl from class and she likes you, why not?

the old fashioned term for cheating is if the couple is married and one of them cheats. In my opion the guy's mind is just straying as they often do when there girlfreind arent around. because shes not there he missses that girl figure so hes just longing for it from somone else as long as he isnt touching her or going out he should be back to normal when his girl freind comes back.

It's not cheating, but he should definitly break up with the out of country girl before he ends up cheating on her.
