I think london isn't really England.it's a bit of everything. I'm not saying that's a bad thing. I just think there's a lot more to England than London.
It's soooo expensive there too.
i like it for a day or two, but then I'm not a big fan of big cities.

don't live in ohio. we're in yorkshire, enough things to do here and it's a lot cheaper than going for a night out in london. get paid the same her too. finally got someone now.only took 3 month

To learn English and to party!

All the au pairs I know of in London have full bed and board, free use of a car plus generous pocket money.

Also, let's face it, there are a lot more fun things for young people to do in London than in i.e. Omaha or Oslo.

First off, it's probably where the most jobs are located. Second, it's a GREAT city. Who wouldn't want a chance to live there? Living with a family is one way to avoid the incredibly expensive rents and live in a central London location. And, probably in a pretty decent neighborhood too.

because
1. i doubt a lot of foreigners have heard of a lot of other places.
2. Because people looking for au pairs in London, have got to be pretty well off, i reckon.
3. because it is a nice enough city

probably to learn english but to also meet people from their native countries also. and most au pair jobs ar ein major cities like london. x
