happened to me as well. it always gets a little difficult to talk when you've matured. just talk to her, don't make it all uncomfortable though, make jokes, get her to laugh. also, confidence is key. girls like guys with confidence, and if you have none, most likely girls won't go after you. a good way to obtain confidence is by working out & getting in shape.

Well, i am in 8th grade too! don't be too pushy if you make the first move. That can screw eveything up!!! I have already been in one really bad relationship this year, and being in the 8th grade just makes eveything SOOO more dramatic than it should be! Just be nice to her, smile at her, and don't leave her any bad impressions about you.

just say hi to her. she may have found some new friends and you kind of drifted apart. even though it's been 2 years you could try and rebuild ur friendship! then if things don't work out you'd know that you did try.
