I know that they say that men value looks in a partner more than women do, and women value confidence/intelligence/money/sense of humor in a partner more than men do.
However, all the girls I know keep talking about cute guys at work, on tv etc... The guys also do this, but not in front of women and not as often.
Are women just saying these things to make me feel insecure? Or is that how women really think when given the freedom to do so?

Women are more shallow than men. They will say crap about a sense of humor being important to spare your feelings. But truth is looks are super important to women.

Sure women talk about cute guys on TV and in the movies or bands but when it comes to the man they love and want to be with the looks are not as important as a lot of other things of which you mentioned. Men are all about what the eye sees. That's why men enjoy strip clubs and porn. Women are turned on more with romance and intimate conversation, and being touched. FYI...women can't make you feel insecure. Only you can do that. And don't pay any attention to dell23 and Shadous, what they don't know about women could fill a book.

Men are programmed to be more into a womans' looks than women are. It's the truth; it's in their genetic makeup. The women who talk in front of you about other guys at work don't think of you in a "sexual" way or are not attracted to you "that way" but see you more as a buddy - that's why they feel free to make the comments they do. A woman can be rude, nasty, air-headed, ignorant, etc - but as long as men think "she's hot", well, then, that's all that matters about her. Are they shallow? Yep. But that's really how they see things.

Real men do not wax, look after the house, clean, cook. I think that the man should always wear the pants in the house, no matter what the woman is doing, and if a woman does not like that set-up, then she should find a "girl friend" who will let her dominate her, I think a woman should always make the man feel masculine and the head of the household, no matter what she is doing or if she is making more money, because when a woman makes a man feel inferior, that is when he goes looking for someone who doesn't.

if you are talking about girls, they go into cute guys but if you are talking about grown up women, im into an intelligent partner, knows how to handle financial matters in the family, confident and mature. just my point of view anyway, i dont know about the others.

it used to be like that where the guys did but know all the grls just think thiere so perfect compared to men but to be honest most memn are actually be higher compared to what reace women or men are higher in smarts and all thast stuff. come on grls have to stop thinking they can do anything they want by wearing pretty much nothing and turning into sluts just so they can get guys allover them
