he is 84 and does not wont treatment.how long can he live this way and or how long will it take him to die because i hate seeing him suffer

Once kidney dialysis is stopped, I person will usually die within a few days, sometimes as long as two weeks.
Let's all pray for an easement of his suffering.

My Doctor Told Me the depressing news - "Your Kidneys Are FAILING!"
My worsening kidney disease symptoms included:
- Nausea and vomiting and constant stomach upset
- Passing only small amounts of urine and stopping and starting while urinating
- Swelling in my ankles and lower legs
- Puffiness around my eyes with brain fog and moodiness

Respect his decision.....no matter how hard it is for you. this is a decision he made for himself.
Take comfort in that he is calling his own shots. He wont last long. Kidney function is too important to the body.

sounds like he is wanting to die. unfortunately he will not last very long a couple of months or so at the most. brace yourself dear the closer it gets the worse it will get.
