Sounds like he's a normal boxer. Hyper is in their genes. You need to take him out a lot and let him run. Throw or hit some tennis balls for him to chase. Help him run some of that off.

If you haven't taken him to obedience classes, I suggest you do. It is SO worth it. It will give you bonding time and make your sweetie a more confident dog -- just as children who are disciplined are more confident than spoiled brats :) I am so glad I did it with my very hyper very playful Chow-Huskie mix. He has turned out to be the best! It also helps with the being hyper to set aside time to just play :)

Sure he'll calm down. just make sur he knows who the boss is.
I have a bordercollie. she used to be hyper too.Super hyper. at 2 years old she seems to have decided her bouncy times are over. :)

aw omg i absoloutely love boxers.
i grew up with them my whole life.
we only had one that was extremely,
hyper she was crazy actually lol.
your lucky i wish i still had one.
