5 feet in width allows for an equal division of the space: 2' 6" allowance for the toilet and the same for the vanity. I'd use a pedestal sink if you want to make the room look larger. A vanity cabinet tends to make the room feel tighter. 5 feet in depth is plenty of space. The toilet and the vanity should be side by side when facing them.

Yep, you can do it! That's what one of my 1/2 baths dimensions are. It's tight, but it can be done. Plus the vanity is even right in front of the potty.

plenty......my half bath is only 3 x 5 ...the sink is right across from the toilet

yes, and if you do it properly, a 60" tub will fit too.
do your layout on paper with the door & window shown on the drawing and you can lay out the entire bath b4 constructing.
