When I enter a search for a song it searches and searches, and finds no resluts then an error message comes up saying that I don't have a live internet connection or a firewall is blocking communacition from limewire. I can connect at my school, but not at my house. Please provide step-by-step instructions or the best you can do. As always, a best answer will be awarded.

Just put aside your problem and try to be more better. It is good that you are unable to download files. That means your computer is still in better situation. Now...
First of All...LIMEWIRE is hard spyware...it will demolish your computer system. My humble request NOT TO USE THIS SOFTWARE AT ALL.....
Better to use Bit torrent software or more better buy a affordable CD/DVD.
Dear...Take care of your computer more...It will take care of you in coming days.

reboot
turn off firewall
make sure ur connected to net
then start again
fail in that
uninstall limewire
re download it could be the program didnt download properly on your comp
