No, the USA is not full of religious fanatics. It's just that our religious nuts are very LOUD.

I think our secular laws keep a lot of the violence down, actually. Just think if America was a theocracy. *shiver*

Yes, we are better that the Islamic fundamentalists because we worship God and we don't believe that you will die and go to "paradise" and get virgins, by the way, fornication is a sin, so how does that follow their belief? I'm a proud, flag-waving, patriotic, red blooded American Baptist and I am sick of our country getting a bad rap all the time. Ask yourself why sooo many foreigners sneak into our country if its not the greatest country on the earth that offers religious freedom to all? Watch the news my friend, the left wing people are trying to squash us of our religious rights in name of "tolerance".

Why are there any such tremendous type of non secular enthusiasts / fundementalists in the u . s .? each and anytime i bypass on youtube and visit any video there are continually about 5 human beings spouting hatred... Why are there any such tremendous type of? There are 1000's of countries using youtube, yet all the hatred looks to go back from the only position, why? i'm no longer even taking such issues as Westboro Church, KKK, American Neo-Nazi move, white-seperatists/nationalsist, or creationists in to interest. ...i'm extra talking about the overall tendancy to be abusive even as man or woman topics arise or some thing vaguely non secular easily there's a logical answer, per chance a historic or cultural ingredient. ...any concepts?

I do think there are many religious nutters, I deal with them all the time being Catholic; they all tend to hand onto this "Catholicism is the whore of Babylon" nonsense...

But also, anyone calls another person a "religious fanatic" if they don't agree with them I have also noticed...

So who is to say? And who is to say you have to be religious to be a fanatic about something? One can push their beliefs and try and opress others even if religion isn't involved at all.

No, the USA is a country full of people who have religious freedom to worship as they see fit so long as it does not bring irrevocable harm to others. The fanatics are the people who paint their faces for football games while freezing their behinds off in the dead of winter as they cheer for the "home team" shirtless!! The fanatics are the ones who buy the paparazzi news papers that make the lives of celebrities miserable and could care less about killing future rulers (Princess Diana). The fanatics are the ones who virtually worship the ground that Oprah Winfrey walks on and can't make a move unless some word of wisdom is spoken from her show. The fanatics are the pervs who stay up late at night surfing the web trying to either find their favorite porn site or someones child on my space to molest!!

The realist are the people who believe in Christ whom is able to forgive the sins of the fanatic and will return to put an end to all fanaticism!!!

Go ask an Evangelical how much they identify with the rest of the country. The Moral Majority is really just a vocal minority.

Our we starting bloody riots when Jesus gets mocked? Are even creeps like Jerry Falwell taping bombs to themselves in the mall? You might hate religious fundies as much as Muslim fundies, but even the militant religious fundies arent doing that kind of thing.

Most don't go around blowing up hotels full of vacationers or trains carrying people to work.

Name one train or hotel an American Christian Fundamentalists has blow up with a sucide bomb or car bomb.

We aren't even CLOSE to being fanatics like some. Yes, we are opinionated and we shout and scream (well some people do) but not too many of us run out and start killing people of other faiths just because they ARE of other faiths.
